For E.E.Martin, film is the omnipresent love affair. From stage school, to writing scripts and producing her first feature film in her 20’s, film has been the glue linking it all together… she has recently set up the London Microbudget Community (LMC) to help others find that ‘glue’.

With a varied background in entertainment, including performing ballet (ENB), opera (ENO), pop (Tricycle/Sony Subsidiary) and acting (Globe Ed Theatre), she has drawn on her additional degrees in psychology and literature for support and authenticity.

Writing has been a lifelong passion. Having won competitions from as young as twelve, her scripts are now being recognised through festivals and pitching events.

Shel has Directed film and stage (shorts), whilst both Producing and Assistant Directing the work of others, and is now preparing to direct her own penned feature film.

E.E.Martin grew up in south London with a passionate animal loving mother and politically active Irish Immigrant father. She lives on a boat in London with her daughter and dog, where she still watches at least ten films a week.
